We sometimes become too self-claimed pious person, we think we are the most religious person alive on this earth. So our attitude is as if someone sitting next to us smoking, we instantly say duh, he have no hope. He is a sinner a non-believer. My friend perhaps he is struggling to quit smoking and to become a friend of God at a much faster rate than you? Perhaps he talks politely to his parents and not you? There are thousands of good things which can be done why not focus on them instead? That kind of thought is really from Satan. You see nobody in this world can measure a person’s closeness to his/her Maker except the maker Himself.
I remember the story of Prophet Joseph, when he was sold by his own brothers and after a very long time these very same brothers who once sold and tortured him came to his mercy, what did he say? “Ha”! Now is the chance let me show who the boss is? Did he? No, instead he forgave them long ago and in fact he always asked God to forgive them.
Yes we see bad qualities in others but hold on don’t be so quick to judge, at the minimum we should thank God that we are not in that path and the next thing is to ask forgiveness for the previous sins which we were indulged in. No person can is a sin free person. And at last we shall always ask god to guide all
Now a days it’s so easy to put a label. Tight jeans? Non-Believer, Smoking? Hell! What is this? Do you know that the very person to whom you just said a non-believer may die in a state that he enter the paradise and you might end up dying with a bottle of wine in your hand?
